KH5500 is a high-performance long-distance AV transmission system designed for large-scale commercial displays, enterprise command centers, education institutions and remote monitoring. It integrates a transmitter and receiver architecture, supporting both Cat5e/Cat6 network cable and single-core single-mode LC fiber transmission.
KH5500 supports up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliance, while remaining backward compatible with common lower resolutions. It provides stable, high-quality AV over IP transmission with clear images, accurate color performance, and HDR compatibility.
Supports transmission up to 150 meters over Cat5e/Cat6 network cable and up to 80 kilometers over single-core single-mode LC fiber, with a 20km optical module as standard. This flexible architecture makes deployment easier across short, medium and ultra-long distance applications.
Users can remotely control the source device from the receiver side through keyboard and mouse, while also extending USB 2.0 peripherals such as flash drives, USB cameras and USB headsets. This makes KH5500 suitable for control rooms, education and remote operating environments.
KH5500 supports PoE (802.3AF), PoC (Power over Cable) and DC 12V power input, along with HDMI audio pass-through, 3.5mm audio extraction, infrared extension and bidirectional RS232 serial communication. One platform handles video, control, audio and power transmission together for simplified installation.
Connecting multiple transmitters and receivers on a single network segment enables flexible many-to-many signal transmission.
With a professional metal enclosure, strong heat dissipation and DIP-switch pairing architecture, KH5500 is built for stable signal transport and long-term 7×24 continuous operation in demanding environments.
